Hi I’m Lucas Hall.

I’m a creative, hard working UX Researcher & Designer seeking to make life easier for interface users. I’m based in Washington State’s beautiful Pacific Northwest. I offer a unique mix of creativity, previous dev skills, and technical skills proven through 15+ years in IT. In the spring of 2021 I graduated from Cascadia College with a degree in Integrated Studies. Working with others to identify solutions that better meet their expectations is probably my favorite part of UX Design. It’s the discovery of it all!

I started my journey as a freelance web developer, which eventually lead to a development position writing code for Costco Wholesale. In 2010 I took a new role at Costco as a UX Designer. I've been learning and growing as a designer since then. In the Spring of 2021, I completed my Associate in Integrated Studies degree from Cascadia College with the goal of going on to further my education in UX. I’m super excited to be starting work on getting my Certificate in UX & Visual Interface Design!

I’ve been married for over 15 years. I’m a dad to four children and a follower of Jesus. I believe in emotional intelligence and trust that is built with invested time. I also believe in budgeting time and money. Finally, I’m a firm believer in the power of a smile.
